Ang Pera Na Hindi Bitin

"How to manage your money so God will entrust you with more."
"Ang Pera Na Hindi Bitin" is written by Ardy O. Roberto, Jr.
This book was given by one of my office-mate before I resign with our company, obviously, she knows how "Gastador" I am. Before I start to read this, I said that "Gagastos muna ako ng bongga!" So that's what I did. By the title itself, this is a guide on how you can manage your money. It took just one hour for me before I finished the book since its just 97 pages. But those pages are very meaningful, this will give you practical advice on how you can save your money. This is not just about financial matters it also contains Bible phrases which make it more interesting. Boring as it may sound but trust me once you flip the pages and start reading this book you will enjoy it and learn a lot of things. This phrase really catches my heart.

"O God, I beg two favors from You before I die.
First, help me never to tell a lie.
Second, give neither poverty nor riches!
Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.
For if I grow rich, I may deny You and say,
"Who is the Lord?"
And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus
insult God's holy name."
Proverbs 30:7-9 (NLT)

I learned a lot of things from the book, from saving to giving money. I realized that we all must live simply. Before reading it sabi ko hindi naman talaga ako gastador pero after kong mabasa to totoo nga sabe ng nanay ko gastasera daw ako, ay ewan! To be honest hindi naman ako mahilig sa branded na damit, isa nga lang ang Forever 21 ko e haha! Silly but its true, mahilig ako mag tiangge at mag ukay, hindi naman sa hindi ko kayang bumili, hindi ko lang feel gumastos ng malaki para sa damit or hindi lang talaga ako fashion freak. But when it comes to food kahit thousand pa okay lang saken basta makakain ako ng masarap. haha! Like the author, nabaon din sya utang pero tinibayan nya ang loob nya and he asks help from God. And he made it! That's why this "Ang Pera Na Hindi Bitin" exist. This is a life-changing book. It gives us moral lessons and change our point of views when it comes to financial matters. Contentment applies. By the end of the book the author summarized his 7 strategies, so here it is:

Pitong Paraan Para Di Mabitin Ang Pera

1. Save. Gamitin ang "Automatic Millionaire savings system."
2. Give. Honor the Lord and give back with a joyful heart. Be generous to your family and to the poor.
3. Get out of debt and stop borrowing.
4. Live Simply. Be frugal. Keep your expenses less than your income.
5. Magsipag, Mag-negosyo. Maging enterprising o magumpisa ng sideline o negosyo.
6. Mag-invest. But "investigate before you invest" para hindi maloko sa scam.
7. Educate Yourself. Magaral and pray for wisdom.

So start now! I'll recommend each one of you to read this. It's a very good book just take one hour of your time and reflect. Thank You, Ardy O. Roberto, Jr for this wonderful book. I hope you guys learned a lesson as much as I do. :)
