Maginhawa Foodtrip: Gerry's Jeepney

This is actually my second time in here but it was my first time to try Gerry's Jeepney. My former teammates and I have been planning to have a small get together since uhhmm... 3 years I think? Haha yes, that long and finally natuloy na din kame sa wakas! So we planned to go to Tagaytay but for some circumstances, we ended up in Maginhawa St. We go to U.P Diliman first and then headed to this restaurant.

Everything in this place is very "Pinoy" from the foods that they offer and their theme. What makes this restaurant more interesting is because of its witty style that you can actually dine inside a Jeepney and lets you eat in a boodle-style. Their set of meals is clever too because they called it Ayala, Quiapo,Cubao and much more. For the food nothing special though.

They moved to a larger area, good thing cause they can accommodate lots of customers but still expect long lines during peak hours.  The receptionist will ask you if you wanted to dine in the jeeps or in regular tables. They offer us the "Manananggal Jeep" which is good for less than 4 persons only. We chose the latter cause "upong limang piso kame sa jeep" haha! Masikip masyado.

It's air-conditioned inside but there is a foul smell and the tables were not properly cleaned. No choice for us gutom na kame e! Foods are not that special cause it's like a typical carinderia (sa totoo lang). I didn't bother to take pictures of the foods though. But still, you can also add this up to your must try list cause benta talaga yun mga patok jeeps. :)
